Inspiration event
During the event, we will screen the documentary On Our Watch, which examines Louisiana’s coastal land loss crisis through the eyes of its local residents, community leaders, and experts. The film offers a powerful perspective on one of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges, and connects directly to this year’s NBF Challenge theme: the Mississippi River Delta.
At 19:00, we’re joined by Katie Freer-Leanards from the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana (CPRA). CPRA is leading Louisiana’s efforts to restore and protect its coast through innovative and nature-based strategies.
Katie will share their vision for the near future. Including how Louisiana is tackling the urgent challenges of coastal land loss, climate change, and community resilience.
Come to get inspired, meet like-minded students and discover how you can be part of designing nature-based solutions for a resilient future. This event is also the perfect opportunity to meet possible team mates!

The online evening will take place on the 2nd of December, from 19:00 to 19:30.
See you there!
