Remote work, international gig work or back to the old: 21 July 2022 | JCSE-IITPSA Skills Survey Webinar
The 2022 JCSE-IITPSA ICT Skills Survey raises pertinent new questions about what the new world of work means for IT practitioners and employers. Where will people work? Who will they work for? And will borderless work be good or bad for the IT sector overall?
You are invited to join this online discussion with the authors of the ICT Skills Survey, Prof. Barry Dwolatzky, Director of the JCSE at Wits University, and Adrian Schofield, consultant at the IITPSA, to unpack what a borderless world of work will mean for IT.
We invite you to share your views on what new opportunities the remote and hybrid work model makes available, whether South African organisations will import remote skills, whether South African professionals will seek remote international opportunities, and whether a gig economy is emerging in IT.
We will also look at what the changing environment could mean for skills development in the sector.
Please participate and share your valuable input during this lively afternoon session.
