Let’s Hear it for The Boys!
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Diagnosis, and
Treatment Options for Men

Let’s face it, there are some distinct anatomical differences between men and women, but one thing’s for sure, they both can develop pelvic pain.

About The Webinar

Studies have found that at least one in six men are dealing with persistent pain in the pelvis, making chronic pelvic pain syndrome the most common urologic diagnosis in men under 50.

Why is pelvic floor dysfunction in women more widely accepted and treated than in our male counterparts? Why does it take men, on average, four years to get the proper diagnosis and treatment for pelvic floor dysfunction? Is it taboo for a man to go to the doctor and talk about his “man parts”? Is it the lack of education within our medical community? Poor screening process?

Please join Empower Pelvic Health owner and pelvic floor physical therapist Brittany Sudbrook on November 8th as she unpacks the truth about Men’s Health and discusses the following topics:

  • Common pelvic floor diagnoses.

  • Learn how to properly screen and identify pelvic floor dysfunction(s) and when to refer to a pelvic floor physical therapist.

  • Why is it essential to establish a mutual relationship with a pelvic floor physical therapist, and how will it benefit your patient?
