English Language Proficiency
Discover ways to engage English language learners in rich experiences that develop language skills in all four language domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This workshop will provide educators with best practices to support English language learners in a wide range of settings.
In this session, learners will explore ways to build context and understanding through rich text, visual, and audio experiences. We will explore strategies that will allow students ample opportunities to talk about what they are learning, building English language proficiency. You will be equipped with scaffolds that support students right where they are.
