About the Guest Presenter
Mark Broussard is a Cosmetic Chemist focusing on the development of Skin Care and Hair Care products, primarily in the Organic, Natural and Clean Beauty market segments.  He is the owner of Desert In Bloom Cosmetics Lab based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  His formulations are primarily based on natural ingredients derived from sustainable, renewable feedstock sources, but may include select functional synthetic ingredients where warranted to achieve enhanced performance in Clean Beauty formulations.  Attending the University of Texas at Austin, he received degrees in Microbiology, MS Organic Chemistry and a Masters In Business Administration that allows him to develop cosmetic formulas taking into consideration the both the technical issues of a formula and the marketing of the product, both of which factor into his formulation strategy in developing a new product.  www.desertinbloomcosmeticslab.com
