What's In Your Breastmilk? A Vitamin Tutorial + COVID Tips

About The Webinar

Being a new mom - particularly during COVID-19 -  can feel very isolating and scary.  Many new mothers have been advised NOT to go to the doctor’s office for routine check-ups or wellness visits, leading to uncertainty, doubt and the general sense that things are beyond our control.

During these times, it can be reassuring to know that we *DO* still have control of important elements of our lives, like how we are nourishing ourselves and our babies, and how we manage our return to work.  Lactation Lab’s mission is to give mothers the tools to gain insight into their diet.  Mindful Return's mission is to give new parents tools to return to work after parental leave with confidence.  With knowledge and tools for success, parents can optimize the nutrition and health of their babies, and improve their own mental health.

  • Finding things we can control.  When the world seems like it's spiraling, it's important to ground ourselves in what is actually within our control.  During this webinar, we'll set up a framework for combatting new mama anxiety.

  • Learning about what's in our breastmilk, and how to make it as healthy as possible for our babies.  Dr. Stephanie Canale will walk us through the 5 vitamins we should be concerned about in our baby's milk and provide suggestions of how best to get them there.

  • Navigating our return to work after leave in a way that makes us feel more calm, empowered, and successful.  Lori Mihalich-Levin, JD, will anchor us in the 4 themes she teaches new parents to help with the return to work after parental leave.
