Optimising health through behavioural change
Many of us have been told to stop smoking, lose weight, stop taking drugs, exercise more or make another change to improve our health. We might even have been told that if we don’t, we risk seriously damaging our life or even losing our life. However, despite the seriousness of this most of us still really struggle to make these changes. Why is changing these habits so hard and how do we get it right?

The Health Behaviour Change workshop will include:
1. Identifying a relevant health goal
2. The cycle of change in health
3. Understanding relapse
4. Preventing relapse
5. Staying accountable
Employees who attend this workshop will be equipped to identify the health behaviours they need to change, understand the process of change and be able to implement these steps in their lives. Most importantly they will know how to identify and avoid relapse.
