This Townhall discussion will explore consumer liability lawsuits against cosmetic companies for failure to warn consumers about a link to reproductive health problems.
Consumers are primarily Black women who use lanthionization, relaxers, to straighten textured hair chemically.
This continuing legal education seminar will discuss recent medical studies, which discovered a correlation between relaxers and a high rate of gynecology problems in Black women.
Furthermore, attendees will review a recent chemical hair straightener litigation case.
