“Aquaventus” is the largest Green Hydrogen initiative in Germany with 10 GW of offshore wind and a production capacity of 1 million tons of green hydrogen per year by 2035. The hydrogen will be produced directly in the offshore wind park and transported to Germany via pipeline.

In this webinar, Jörg Singer, President of Aquaventus e.V. and Mayor of the island of Helgoland, will present the Aquaventus “project family”, comprising projects such as offshore hydrogen production, a large offshore hydrogen pipeline, hydrogen powered ships, offshore hydrogen production research etc. He will present the state of the art, but also explain the technological, political, legal and financial challenges that have to be solved.
