About the Webinar

This is part 2 of our 2-part series on Financial Independence & Retiring Early! We are talking to people who have achieved, or are on-track to achieve, early-retirement...before the age of 40!

In this webinar, we’ll be speaking with Michelle Ives (who blogs about her family’s journey to financial independence at That Girl on FIRE, and is on-track to achieve financial independence by her mid-30s) and Arjun Paliwal (who achieved $40,000 in passive income by age 28 enabling him to quit his job and start his buyers advocacy business, InvestorKit). 

We’ll be asking them all the important questions - what motivated them to start this journey, how they achieved it, the challenges and mistakes they made along the way, and so much more.

Paridhi Jain is the founder of financial education company, SkilledSmart which creates courses, content and community around topics of money and finance. Paridhi became passionate about financial education after working with financially distressed Australians and seeing close-up the impacts of a poor financial foundation. Previously, Paridhi was as a management consultant at global advisory firm, Ernst & Young. 

Michelle Ives is a business owner and financial journalist who is well on the way to her goal of retiring by the age of 35, living solely off of the passive income generated through her assets in property, shares and superannuation. She routinely saves and invests up to 80% of her income to meet this goal. Her dream with her retirement? To travel freely, volunteer full-time for causes she is passionate about and write for passion, not profit. Michelle writes about her goal to Financial Independence, Retiring Early on her blog at That Girl on FIRE.

Arjun Paliwal has now accumulated 11 properties by age 28, he previously quit his job at 25 after achieving circa $40,000 in passive income through real estate investing. After quitting his job, Arjun started his own business InvestorKit, a residential and commercial property buyers agency. He now works with investors from first timers to multi-property owners, to help them achieve their passive income goals
