The California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) is one of the biggest industry/government collaborations worldwide.

California is a pioneer in hydrogen mobility. As of May 31, 13,806 fuel cell cars were sold and leased in the US, 66 fuel cell buses are in operation in California, 76 FCEBs are in development and 56 hydrogen stations are available.
