Inviting LGBTIQA+ Community Members, Loved ones and Allies, Mental Health and Health Providers and the wider community to join us for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination and Transphobia 2022
This event is presented by Connection And Wellbeing Australia (CAWA) and Supported by Perth Suicide Prevention Coordination Team Seed Funding.
What to expect:
This year, our community connection event will look at building pratical actions of Allyship between LGBTIQA+ people and towards LGBTIQA+ people.
The last few years have been incredibly difficult for the LGBTIQA+ community and we need Allies to step up in the places we live, study, work and play.
We will share the results of our community survey that asks what actions of Allyship they feel will be most helpful, especially during times when our bodies, lives, identities and realtionships are up for public debate.
We will also be highlighting the amazing groups that work to keep LGBTIQA+ safe accross WA.
Come along for a yarn and to share space together.
