Sustainable Finance: A new era of reporting
About The Webinar
Drawing on developments from the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, this webinar will explore the topic of sustainability reporting and discuss some of the key trends, concepts, and frameworks. How is the work of organisations and standard setters driving the convergence and standardisation of reporting? What opportunities and challenges does this create for our financial services industry – particularly in the funds sector?
During this event, we'll hear insights from our three presenters, as they discuss a number of themes including the major drivers of the growth of non-financial reporting, the UK's push to embed the TCFD recommendations into new sustainable disclosure requirements, how to put such disclosures in practice, as well as what this all means for Jersey as a forward-thinking jurisdiction.
The presenters are:
Harry Briggs | Director at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies (currently on secondment to Accounting for Sustainability (A4S)
Eva Vogt | Head of ESG & Impact at EMK Capital (recently recognised as part of the BVCA's Excellence in ESG initiative)
David Postlethwaite | Sustainable Finance Lead at Jersey Finance
