Hydrogen and Decarbonization Strategies
in Hamburg, Los Angeles, and Vienna
Live Webinar (English)
Start: May 19, 2022
17:00 in Hamburg and Vienna | 08:00 in Los Angeles | 23:00 in Shanghai
Los Angeles, Hamburg and Vienna are among the cities with the world's most ambitious plans for decarbonizing transportation and industry. Los Angeles has been the city with the greatest concentration of hydrogen fueling stations for decades, Hamburg and its metropolitan region already have the best prerequisites for a complete hydrogen ecosystem, and Vienna, home to numerous suppliers of world-leading technology to the hydrogen industry, is growing its hydrogen footprint across multiple sectors.
In this multinational webinar, representatives from WienEnergie (Vienna’s public utility), the HY5 initiative of the five northern German states, and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power's (LADWP) Resource Planning Department will share their strategies and the status of real-world implementation to reduce CO2 emissions and adopt hydrogen as a clean energy carrier.
