About Dominika Minarovic, Presentor

Dominika is Co-Founder of BYBI, a 100% natural, vegan, and cruelty free product founded in 2017. Along with Co-Founder Elsie Rutterford the duo created the media platform "Clean Beauty Insiders". When they saw a need for a natural yet efficacious skincare underpinned by sustainability ethics, they launched BYBI.

With a childhood split between Australia and Hong Kong, and and educational and work background in publishing and sales, Dominika has a unique perspective in our industry.

About Dr. Richard Blackburn, Presentor

Richard Blackburn is the Professor of Sustainable Materials at The University of Leeds. His key areas of research focus around the principles of sustainability and how these principles can be applied in the fields of materials science, coloration technology and cosmetics. 

​​​​​​​Professor Blackburn is a co-founder and director of spin-out company Keracol Limited and its cosmetics brand Dr. Craft.

About Dr. Paul Cornwell, Guest Scientist

We've invited Dr. Cornwell to run the Question & Answer session for this webinar as our first ever "Guest Scientist". He oversaw the Science Committee for the recent Society of Cosmetic Scientists' "Naturals in Cosmetics" Conference, so is very familiar with today's presentations.

​​​​​​​Paul is the Business Development Director at TRI Princeton. He has over 25 years experience in our industry, including stints at Unilever and PZ Cussons.

​​​​​​​About Perry Romanowski, Moderator

Perry has been formulating cosmetic products and inventing solutions to solve consumer problems since the early 1990’s. Additionally, he has written and edited numerous articles and books, taught continuing education classes for industry scientists, and developed successful websites. His most recent book, Beginning Cosmetic Chemistry 3rd Edition, is available for free to IFSCC Members at IFSCC.org in the Learning Center (in the Publications section). Perry has been IFSCC Education Chair since 2019.
