Kelly Thyssen has over 14 years of experience in the animal welfare field. Kelly has been an Animal Control Officer for 12 years, has worked in small animal veterinary clinics as a veterinary technician and surgical assistant, was a kennel manager for a non profit rescue and worked for the Department of State Health Services Zoonosis Control Division.  She currently owns Humane Educators of Texas in Hutto, TX and provides state approved continuing education courses for animal control officers and law enforcement.
