Radical Reading: Context Matters

PA schools and districts are required to apply principles of Structured Literacy to their reading programs in grades k-8. This work will also require culturally responsive and sustaining practices. Learning to read is not just mechanical, it is contextual, cultural, and must be deeply connected to children's lives.
