This 2 day in-person training course has 16 hours of IADLEST certified training curriculum. During the class, you will learn through a combination of lecture, videos and the use of the VirTra V-300 training simulator.

Injured Officer Handgun Manipulation - 6 Hours
Using a combination of classroom and simulation, you will learn how to transition and "stay in the fight" if you are injured during a deadly force encounter.Down Not Out Just because you're hurt doesn't mean you're done! We'll cover "strong vs weak" hands, breathing techniques and the "shot ain't dead" concept.

Tourniquet Application Under Threat - 8 Hours
This curriculum provides an effective method to function in a lethal force encounter and apply a tourniquet after being injured. The training is conducted with the potential of an ongoing threat environment.

During this class, we will cover the application of the more popular TQT's our there: C-A-T, SOF-T and R.A.T.S.

Application - Not Just Lecture
You're not going to just sit in a classroom and watch an instructor. You'll be applying tourniquets to yourself and your partners. You will then be palced inside our simulator to engage in a deadly force encounter while applying what you've learned.

Complete Coverage
Applying a TQT to different limbs requires you to know where and how to place them. We'll cover techniques on how to apply the tourniquet to your primary or support arm, as well as upper and lower leg inuries.

Law enforcement members interact with dozes of people every shift, making effective communication a vital part of training.
Proper interactiona llows officers to apply de-escalation tactics to a situation, or attempt to prevent escalation in the first place.

As a law enforcement officer, the goal of crisis intervention should revolve around safety. This training will help find your triggers and what can drive your own decision making process.

We will explore what a crisis is and the differnt types of behaviors that can come out of it. There will also be a deep dive into risk factors for violence as well as strategies to help reduce the chances of violence.
