Climate Action is Still Everyone's Business

About The Webinar

The COVID-19 pandemic has cost lives and devastated livelihood. As we begin to examine how to shape the post-COVID recovery, it is clear that building resilience will be vital to enusre businesses, communities and people can survive future existential threats, one of the more pressing being climate change.
As we work towards the UN climate negotiations at COP26 in November 2021, how do we ensure that businesses build resilience into their operations and maintain the momentum on climate action to ensure that businesses, communities and people not only survive but thrive into the future?

Join us for this livecast – organised by ICC with the support of We Mean Business, The World Economic Forum, B Team and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development – to hear from climate leaders about why Climate Action is still Everyone’s Business and to learn what kind of collective action needs to be taken in order to build a future that puts us squarely on track to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement, while creating jobs, reducing inequalities and safeguarding the global economy.

We will sit down with Nigel Topping and Gonzalo Munoz, appointed by the governments of the UK and Chile to act as official ‘Climate Champions’ for the UN climate talks, as well as the new CEO of We Mean Business, Maria Mendiluce, with special video messages from leading climate voices, to address these three key questions:
