Brand Protection for MSMEs During COVID-19
About The Webinar
Welcome to another episode of the ICCA COVID-19 Briefing – an interactive video series where we explore the economic and health implications of this coronavirus pandemic, and what must be done to ensure successful recovery for businesses big and small.
Criminals have been quick to seize opportunities to exploit the COVID-19 crisis as we continue to see a rise in counterfeit goods traded domestically and across borders. The event will seek to explore and understand the added stress on SMEs to secure their supply chains in these challenging times and how counterfeiters impact their operations.
The event is supported by ICC BASCAP in association with the Cell for IPR Promotion & Management (CIPAM) and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
This session will include a special video message from D P Srivastava - Deputy Director General at the Indian Ministry of MSMEs.
The event will also highlight how increasingly, due to lockdowns in several countries, SME's are forced to migrate their operations to online marketplaces and will investigate the related impact on their brand protection strategies. The event will act as a platform to share experiences and best practices that have proven to be most effective in mitigating counterfeit trafe in these times. Find answers to questions such as:
