Fueling cost of hydrogen fuel cell heavy duty vehicles (FC HDVs) must be competitive with other fuel/vehicle technologies. The methods of hydrogen packaging, delivery and fueling impact the hydrogen cost at the dispenser. Furthermore, there is a tradeoff between well-to-wheels carbon intensity of hydrogen and its cost.

He leads the development of the hydrogen infrastructure technoeconomic models (HDSAM) and the environmental life cycle analysis models (GREET).
