Clery Act Compliance

This training will address the history and purpose of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. Training will also address what colleges and universities must comply with and how those requirements intersect and support the efforts on protecting youth.

Topics for discussion include general Clery Act background, Michigan State settlement, CSAs (how to identify and train), creating policy with youth protection officials on campus, and examples of UW-Madison’s policy development, policy, and procedures.
