Selfish or Harder to Manipulate: Evolution of Self, Real Freedom & Redefining Needs and Selfishness

About The Program

Welcome to our series of conversations with the authors of the book “I Didn’t Become Selfish, I Became Harder to Manipulate”.

In this program Michol Mae & Chessie Roberts join Sara Jane & Scott. They will be expanding on the wisdom they shared in the book and talking about:

     * Real Freedom Comes with Finally Seeing Your True Motive

How long, how often have you carried guilt for a long-ago transgression?
How long have you carried that perceived guilt for said transgression?
When did it come to you that the guilt you carried was for the wrong reason?

When did you realize that your true reason was to step out from under manipulation and regain your own agency? How free did you feel then?
Let’s talk about that.

      * Evolution of Self: When Being Whole is Your Goal

Chessie has found over her years of evolution that we need balance within our triquetra of Body, Mind and Spirit if we are to be a whole person. As most of us work on one part of us, we oft times lose track of the other parts so we become unbalanced, causing stress and/or illness. This is about remembering the rest of our Selves and regaining our balance in these three most important areas of life.

     * Redefining needs and selfishness in the aftermath of people pleasing

Have you ever evaluated your definition of selfish, of a need versus a want?

Perhaps struggled to set boundaries because you rationalized all but the basic human rights needs as wants?

Michol did, and she learned how to redefine these to heal and move forward towards healthier relationships.

Join Chessie, Michol and the team live, for a thoughtful, open & honest conversation as they share their thoughts & insights. You are invited to ask questions and comment in the chat.
