How can we as professionals use this knowledge to improve our care for the Latine community?

​​​​​​​Let's bust myths and reduce the stigma around cultural foods. By acknowledging problems in the way health promotion is discussed in the media, we can bring to light the systemic issues that impact health--particularly the health of those in marginalized communities. We must first look at health through the lens of the Social Determinants of Health. Then we can truly appreciate the reality of the pursuit of health and how we can best help our clients on that journey.
