Emergency Loan Funds

Aboriginal businesses across the nation are experiencing unique challenges in the face of COVID-19 pandemic. NADF has established an emergency loan fund and has partnered with FedNor and the National Aboriginal Capital Corporation Association to deliver an additional two emergency loan programs to Aboriginal businesses in Northern Ontario. 

​​​​​​​Brian Davey, Executive Director will provide an overview of the three programs that are available to Aboriginal businesses in NADF's service area.

  • Regional Relief and Recovery Fund

    NADF has partnered with FedNor the deliver and administer the RRRF to the 33 First Nations serviced under our CFDC agreement.  Eligible applicants may apply for up to $40,000 to support eligible business operating costs.

  • Indigenous Business Stabilization Program

    NADF has partnered with the National Aboriginal Capital Corporation Association to deliver the IBSP to Aboriginal businesses in Northern Ontario.  Eligible applicants may apply for up to $40,000 to support eligible business operating costs.

  • NADF COVID-19 Emergency Loan Fund
    NADF has established the COVID-19 ELF to support Aboriginal business in Northern Ontario.  Eligible applicants may apply for up to $25,000 to support eligible business operating costs.
