A natural alternative solution to antibiotics
Poultry production involved strict sanitary conditions. For several years, demedication has become a public health issue due to antibiotic resistance. Therefore, natural alternatives to antibiotics such as acids are efficient tools against bacteriae. Besides sanitary actions of acids, they are also efficient for nutritional actions. The use of acids has many interesting effects on the animal, such as better digestion, eggshell quality, litter quality, less pododermatitis etc. Furthermore, acids can be spread on raw materials, mixed with feed and/or in drinking water to avoid pathogens contamination from feed and water.
