Outdoor Play is Too Dangerous and Other Early Childhood Myths Dispelled explores the barriers educators are facing today, limiting the time children are spending outdoors and ways we can break down those barriers so children can connect with nature on a regular basis. Some of these barriers include harsher weather conditions and the pressure to fulfill curriculum expectations. This workshop also provides educators with many outdoor programming ideas and ways to really embrace the outdoors as a space for deep learning.
