  • John Hunter, Head of Banking and Fiduciaries, Finance Isle of Man

    As Head of Banking and Fiduciaries for Finance Isle of Man, John works closely with the financial and professional services sectors across the Island. John has over 35 years' financial services experience, which has included senior management roles with several major banks, working across a wide spectrum of sectors, including Private Client and Fiduciary. During his banking career John set up a successful High Net Worth private client business for a major bank in Knightsbridge, developed a private banking business in the west country, and developed a significant Private Equity desk for an offshore bank.

  • Roelf Odendaal, Managing Director, Turnstone Group Isle of Man

    Roelf has been Managing Director at Turnstone for over 20 years. Turnstone's core products are trust and company services, supporting the success of the family governance structure. Roelf's role involves assisting families to ensure that the business stays successful, while they flourish as a family. Roelf is a firm believer that wealthy families that steward their wealth well, will ultimately create endless possibilities for the future.

  • Basil Bielich, Director, Peregrine Isle of Man

    Basil joined Peregrine in 1997 and was made a director in 2001. He is responsible for managing a wide portfolio of business clients and has a particular interest in niche technology and internet companies. Basil's main strength lies in gaining an in-depth knowledge of his clients' business before transferring his commercial skills to them. He works with a large and varied client base and has specialist knowledge of tax planning and strategic advice with a well-honed ability to improve profit levels and introduce cost-saving schemes.

  • Colin Bird, Partner, Maitland Group Isle of Man

    Colin has been a partner at Maitland since 2005. He is recognised in the Isle of Man for his expertise in complex commercial and trusts work, working particularly with family offices and private clients. He specialises in Isle of Man and British Virgin Islands (BVI) company law as well as in the trust law of both jurisdictions. He is a director of corporate trustee companies and is a director of numerous other companies, including mining and natural resource companies, e-commerce companies, investment holding companies, and investment funds. Colin is also involved with transactions in works of art held in private collections.

  • Selu Mdlalose, Client Service Director, Maitland Group Isle of Man

    Selu joined Maitland Isle of Man in 2017. As Client Service Director, he forms part of the senior management team and plays an important role in client management and revenue generation, as well as providing subject matter expertise on Isle of Man structures. Selu is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales having initially qualified as a CA with PwC in Zimbabwe in 2001. Since then he has built a strong track record in the financial services industry, including over nine years' senior management experience in the fiduciary services sector. Selu joined Maitland from First Names Group, Isle of Man.
