The African Diaspora Development Institute was born out of the desire to bring Africa to the world and the world to Africa. There currently is no one resource to easily find information about Africa. ADDI aims to become that resource.

​​​​​​​We have come to the realization that the current status of the African economy is due to the mass exodus of the African Diaspora out of Africa.

The formation of the Houston Chapter continues the global vision of ADDI. The Houston Chapter will reach out to all those interested within the area commonly known as the Houston Galveston Area Council. The geographic range encompasses Harris County and the adjacent seven counties Known as the non-attainment area.

​​​​​​​The primary City of Houston is a majority minority City. The population of Houston is 2.2 million of that about 25% is of African heritage and there is our base.
