Prior to Covid-19, we undertook some research at Hodge with a view of gaining a greater understanding around attitudes towards money across the generations and how people feel about discussing finances with their family.
The research uncovered that despite 58% of people over 75 being happy to help family members financially, 56% of people were too embarrassed to ask for help.
