Finding Time to "Stay Well": Self-Care for Helpers during COVID-19
Those in the social services field hear so much about the importance of self-care. With all that is going on with the current pandemic, self-care is an even more important message, especially as helpers are stressing its importance to clients, family members, and the overall community. Attendees will discuss the importance of self-care and the impact of teletherapy, a global pandemic, and trauma. Attendees will receive suggestions on how to take care of themselves while supporting others.
This training has been approved for 2.0 Category I CEUs by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. Approval for Category A CEUs by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists is pending.
