Why should I Care? Winning with Millennial Jurors
About the Webinar
CLE: 1 hour
Millennial jurors have perplexed trial lawyers and jury consultants no less than they have confounded corporate human resources managers or political leaders.
In many ways, Millennials’ worldviews are just irreconcilably different from the generations that preceded them. Seasoned trial lawyers find that well-honed arguments battle-tested with decades of experience sometimes seem to fall on deaf ears with Millennials. Many of the battle-tested playbooks just don’t seem to reliably connect.
As a result, many trial lawyers and jury consultants still find themselves habitually using peremptory strikes to remove Millennials. In fact, this is often one of the areas where many plaintiffs’ and defense lawyers seem to agree—no one wants Millennial jurors.
While this may have been viable in the past, it is not a sustainable strategy for obvious reasons.
The purpose of this presentation is to explore the current data regarding Millennial jurors and the psychological bases for persuasion. This presentation will also offer practice strategies on how you can win with Millennial jurors, and become a better trial lawyer in the process.
