While competency models, skill sets, and personal characteristics are often used to define jobs, an approach based on the accomplishments or contributions we expect from our people can be more actionable and measurable.

This session introduces the Individual Performance Map, a tool for defining the accomplishments a given job title or role is expected to contribute.  It gives us a way to plan true onboarding (not merely onboarding meetings) and succession planning that enables leaders, managers and human resource professionals to define exactly where someone new to a role needs to develop, and in what sequence or  with what priority.
