Completing Pre-Reading for 3-5 years will contribute 2 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and Assessment of NSW Curriculum/EYLF addressing standard descriptors 2.1.2, 2.5.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

This course includes:
- literacy according to EYLF
- speech, oral and language development
​​​​​​​- play based learning and literacy
- pre reading skills including phonological awareness
- vocabulary and comprehension
- effective, simple games and strategies to help with pre reading​​​​​​​
- ways to innovate on a text
- how to incorporate pre-reading skills into the daily routine

This webinar is interactive and allows time for questions. Participants will be emailed an abundance of resources before the​​​​ webinar that will be explained during the course.
