MPPG #8: History and Practice, 
Linac Performance Test

Presented by, Rob Krauss DMP, DABR, physicist and radiation safety officer at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. He has nearly two decades of experience in radiation oncology in both community and academic settings. After receiving a BS in physics from Union University in Jackson, TN, he attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and was one of the first three physicists in the world awarded the Doctorate of Medical Physics degree. He is active in AAPM, regularly attending meetings and serving on several subcommittees. 

In this presentation, he will review the history of AAPM QA documents that led to MPPG 8, the process of how it was developed and practical implementation of the document.
