Embracing Cold Weather Flying

About the Seminar

Winter can offer some of the most scenic flying but does require additional steps and considerations to make the best out of the activity. Join COPA for this seminar on aircraft engine preheating options.

It will also include focus on the 9 series Rotax engines which are growing in popularity exponentially. This includes factors that impact cold weather ops on this engine specifically and looking at methods to modify the cooling of Rotax engines, as well as pre-heating.

Please note, this seminar meets the 24-month requirements of CAR 401.05(2)(a) and participants will be emailed a certificate of completion after the seminar. COPA will provide instructions on how to track your training in your logbook should Transport Canada audit you.

COPA's safety seminars are made free through the generosity of many sponsors. During this live event, we will hear from our sponsor, ForeFlight.
