Luis Ribera, professor and Extension economist, Texas A&M University:
Dr. Luis A. Ribera is professor and Extension economist in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. Dr. Ribera is the director of the Center for North American Studies and also serves as the program director for International Projects with the Agricultural and Food Policy Center. His areas of expertise are international trade, transportation, economic impacts and risk analysis. Dr. Ribera has been an invited speaker in over 300 conferences around the world and has brought over $30 million in research and extension funding for his programs.
Rebekah Carlson, Agriculture Supply Lead, Nori
Rebekah Carlson is the Agriculture Supply Lead at Nori. As a trained researcher and agronomist, she blends her experiences to help shape the Nori process and product to most effectively meet the scientific rigor and the farmer's needs of enrollment in our carbon market. Previously, while scouting fields in Nebraska, she also worked on her extended family's farm and cow-calf operation, where she chased (and was chased by) plenty of black angus cattle. She earned her B.S. in Biochemistry from Biola University and M.S. in Agronomy and Agroecology from the University of Minnesota.
