Ulrich Mayerhöffer - Technical evaluation and development group leader

Ulrich completed his PhD organic supramolecular chemistry at the University of Würzburg in 2011, and then joined Lonza’s central R&D unit in Visp, Switzerland as a development chemist. He held different roles in chemical process development as well as production. In the course of the carve-out of Lonza’s chemical business he transitions to the newly formed Arxada AG in 2021 where he is leading the Technical Evaluation and Development group.

Philipp Kohler - Technical evaluation manager

Philipp received his PhD from ETH Zurich in 2010, after which he went on for a postdoc at UC Irvine, California. After his return to Switzerland, he worked at Dottikon ES as a lab head. In 2014, he switched to Actelion and later Idorsia in the Basel area for a position as a process chemist. At the start of this year, he joined Arxada, Visp, as a technical evaluation manager, where his main occupation is to evaluate incoming project requests in terms of technical feasibility, cost estimation, and overall fit to Arxada.

Marie Hoffmann - Senior manager business development CDMO

After getting her PhD from the University of Strasbourg, Marie went to UCLA as a Fulbright Post-Doctoral Scholar. Coming back to Europe, she 1^st worked as team leader for a Swiss start-up, before spending some time leading the QC department of one of DSM production site. She later joined LCC, a Liverpool-based CRO, as a business developer. By mid-2021, she joined Arxada where she is now a senior business development manager for the CDMO business line, working on the chemical and biotechnological fields, to unlock customized solutions.​​​​​​​
