Part 3 - Computational Thinkers in the Early Years: Getting Creative!
Join Scholar’s Choice on May18, 2021 at 8 pm EST as we are joined by Education Specialist from Let's Talk Science, Lynn Fitzpatrick.
Last time, Lynn shared her passion about and introduced us to some ideas related to computational thinking (CT). She shared ideas on the importance of the skills of sorting and sequencing in the early years. In Part 3, we will explore activities related to logical thinking and problem solving that build on the CT skills of abstraction and algorithmic thinking; and support the global competencies. Plenty of creative ideas to use with children of all ages! It is sure to be a playful, fun and engaging session as she shares activities and resources to support computational skill development in young children.
