Kathy Lubitz is the President of the Ultralight Pilots Association of Canada (UPAC), the national voice for Canadian Ultralight Pilot and has been a member of EAA, RAA and COPA. She’s been a Private Pilot for more than 45 years and an Ultralight Flight Instructor for 30 years.
Kathy and her husband Ed were involved with home built aircraft before the Canadian ultralight category was created in 1982. In 2008, they built a full-scale replica of the Silver Dart celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first powered flight in Canada.
