About the Webinar
The oligopeptide sector, integral to cosmetic and pharmaceutical innovation, remains largely dependent on human-derived peptides produced via transgenic and resource-intensive methods. This webinar explores a critical shift toward non-transgenic, scalable, and economically viable production through plant biotechnology. Recent advancements reveal that specific plant-derived oligopeptides, particularly those obtained from Centella asiatica and Curcuma longa stem cell secretomes, exhibit high functional analogy to animal growth factors—stimulating human cellular regeneration and promoting tissue repair.
Leveraging proprietary Phyto-Peptidic Fractions technology, this study identifies a new generation of natural biomimetic peptides that align closely with the regenerative mechanisms of animal cells. Proteomic and peptidomic analyses underscore the unique peptide biodiversity and structural synergy inherent to these plant sources, suggesting their potential as sustainable alternatives to synthetic and animal-derived peptides.
Supported by both in vitro and clinical data, these findings represent a pioneering advancement in cosmetic science, emphasizing the efficacy, safety, and ecological relevance of plant-based peptides. Vytrus will present key insights into the molecular mechanisms, clinical relevance, and future potential of this innovative plant-based approach to anti-aging and hair revitalization therapies.
