Reviewing COPTTM: starting the discussion

About The Webinar

The Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management is the governing document for the setup and safe conduction of temporary works on and around roads.

It is important this document is up to date  and fits with industry and government best practice. Waka Kotahi will provide forms and information on the review process later this week, which will be available on the CoPTTM webpage, and sent to everybody that registers.

As part of the review process, we need your specific and targeted feedback. If you are interested in contributing your feedback or expertise, please let us know and indicate your areas of interest using our quick signup form. The review documents are available on the Waka Kotahi website.

Join Civil Contractors New Zealand and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to hear about the latest plans to review the Code of Practice, including:

  • What does this review of the CoPTTM look like - who is involved, how will it be approached and how can you have your say?

  • Why review CoPTTM -  hear about the reasons for reviewing CoPTTM from a government and industry perspective, including WorkSafe guidance, critical risk of TTM and training and competency models.

  • Format and process for the review, and how industry can give input and work to a new plan.
