The Public Libraries Division (PLD) through its Training Section is making major shifts in direction to cope up and remain resilient quickly amidst the rapid shifts in this difficult time. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the face-to-face training has transitioned to cloud services to make sure to enable connections, particularly to public libraries affiliated with the National Library of the Philippines.

NLP through PLD and in partnership with the Association of Librarians in Public Sector (ALPS) and REGALO: Touching Lives, will host this “Webinar on Library Resiliency” on June 11, 2020, at 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Through this Webinar, public libraries in and outside the country will have opportunities to connect, engage and learn from one another. The webinar will focus on the different mechanisms and strategies of resiliencies in libraries and how they adapt to changes.
