Sleep is a vital dimension of our health and wellbeing. In addition, our bodies have multiple clocks that become de-synchronised in our increasingly complex world and impact our ability to perform as effectively as we could. Yet, sleep is often overlooked in comparison to other pillars of health such as diet and exercise.
In this masterclass we will explore the science behind sleep and body clocks, the impact on everyday life and uncover some of the reasons why you should be adding sleep to your list of key priorities for maximising wellbeing, productivity and performance.
Our speaker for this is Dr Elise R. Facer-Childs from the Sleep Health Foundation, an international expert in the field of sleep, biological rhythms and performance with a particular focus on individual differences. She conducted her training in the UK where she obtained a Masters and PhD and currently leads the Sleep & Performance Research Program as a STEM+ Business Fellow at Monash University.
Elise is also an accredited mindfulness teacher and has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and CBT for insomnia and the Founder of Peak Sleep to Elite.
In this Masterclass, she will use her experience of working with elite sporting organisations, athletes and businesses to provide tips on optimising sleep and biology rhythms to enhance health, productivity and performance.
Come join us for the Masterclass to activate sleep mode, this August!
