OFC High Performance Consultant & OFC Pro Licensed Coach, Dave Wright, will host world-leading expert in creativity in football, Dr James Vaughan for an interactive discussion on creativity and high performance.

Dr James Vaughan is a coach, coach educator, academic, and former international Futsal player with experience across elite football and research. He holds a PhD in Sports Coaching, a UEFA A license and has presented internationally on skill development, culture, creativity, and ecological approaches to coaching.

James has delivered keynote speeches at scientific conferences and with leading clubs around the world, including FC Barcelona. He has extensive experience in football research, player development, and coaching practice, including work with AIK Football Club. James recently became an honorary senior research fellow at the University of Waikato in the school of sport and human movement.

Currently Academy Director at Västerås SK Fotboll, James focuses on creating player development environments and ways of working (methodology) that develop creative players and high-performing teams simultaneously.
