About The Webinar:

With more and more Broadway shows making the leap across the Atlantic and opening in the West End, this case study based webinar follows the West End transfer of Broadway's Rock of Ages, Beautiful and Waitress. As a direct comparison, special guest Matt DiCarlo (Broadway PSM), will be joining the webinar to look at the Broadway transfer of the West End's
The Play That Goes Wrong.  

Together Graham and Matt will investigate different stage management styles, relationships with an existing creative team, and challenges in the process of opening an existing show in another country. 

Graham Hookham
Graham has worked in Stage Management predominantly in the West End for the last 16 years. Beginning his career as an ASM, then an ASM Book Cover, DSM, and finally SM, he worked his way through the ranks on various large-scale musicals.  As well as his West End credits he has worked extensively on a variety of events, theatre productions and award ceremonies, both at home in the UK and internationally.

Matt DiCarlo
Matt is currently the Production Stage Manager at Sing Street. His other Broadway credits include: Beetlejuice, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Color Purple, Honeymoon in Vegas and Rock of Ages.  Off-Broadway: Piece of My Heart.  Regional: A Walk on the Moon (A.C.T), Up Here (La Jolla Playhouse) and a dozen shows at Paper Mill Playhouse.   Matt directed the national tours and Off-Broadway production of The Play that Goes Wrong and was John Doyle's Associate Director for the national tours of The Color Purple.  Matt is on the faculty at Columbia University and SUNY Purchase.
