The EU aims to cover future energy needs with purely regenerative energies. To accomplish this goal, importing clean hydrogen on a large scale is essential. Based on the concrete IPCEI project “Northern Green Crane”, the panel of experts from Hydrogenious LOHC will provide deep practical insights on clean hydrogen supply chains using LOHC. The session highlights conceptual, technical as well as regulatory perspectives - and shows which challenges still have to be overcome.

Dr Toralf Pohl brings a wide range of valuable competencies to the responsibility of the Hydrogenious LOHC commercial division. The business jurist draws on more than 15 years of experience in international market and business development including product marketing & sales, but also JV buildings and M&A activities in the renewable energy and power-to-x industry.

​​​​​​​Maryna Hritsyshyna is a Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs at Hydrogenious LOHC. She has more than 11 years’ experience in the energy sector and specializes in hydrogen regulation, renewable energy projects and energy markets. Maryna had experience in drafting laws for implementation of the EU regulation in the energy sector of Ukraine.

Vinzenz von Eickstedt is an expert for the IPCEI project “Northern Green Crane” at Hydrogenious LOHC. He also manages other national and international renewable energy projects as well as develops new strategic market opportunities. Prior to joining Hydrogenious LOHC, Vinzenz worked for several years for a leading global consultancy.

​​​​​​​Sejir Boubtane is a technical expert at Hydrogenious LOHC. He acts as technical support in collaboration with the business development team in early project phases. Sejir graduated from the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg in the fields of Chemical engineering and energy technology.
