CMB.TECH and Ekinetix built the first multimodal hydrogen refuelling station. In Antwerp ships, tube trailers, cars, trucks and buses can make use of the green hydrogen produced on site.
 
The station produces hydrogen from water and green electricity with a 1.2 MW PEM electrolyser. It is located between the city and the port.

There are two ways of distributing the green hydrogen:

1. It is able to supply hydrogen to the general public (cars, trucks, buses)

2. It supplies hydrogen to the many industrial applications in the port including ships.
