What You Will Learn In The Webinar
One of the most relevant questions of the worldwide Hydrogen industry is “How do we get Hydrogen from A to B?”
Depending on given infrastructure and use cases, different solutions are existing: simple GH2-cylinders or high pressure Type IV tube trailers, transport in pipelines – and sometimes as Liquid Hydrogen at 20 Kelvin.
While the capacity of the best high pressure trailers is around 1,400 kg, the capacity of liquid Hydrogen trailers is at 4,000 kg or even more. However, since a liquefaction plant and additional energy is required, the answer to the selected transport solution depends on a lot of (local) project variables, that might need to be considered even at the global scale.
The basis of the Hydrogen liquefaction process have been laid some 120 years ago also by Carl von Linde, a German technology pioneer and founder of Linde plc. Since then, Linde (https://www.linde-engineering.com) has been a world market leader in the gas industry, and their engineering division has developed countless innovations also for the Hydrogen market.
In this next webinar, Heinz Mitterbacher of Linde plc will share his 30+ years of experience in the (liquid) Hydrogen sector and explain how liquid Hydrogen transport works. On a side note: before Heinz started his current position, he was responsible for the development of the latest generation of LH2 trailers, so he is not only a “market guy”, he has decades of experience in engineering, R&D and manufacturing.
You will learn:
Heinz will show you several examples of successful liquid Hydrogen applications from Linde’s worldwide projects.
