Ionic Interactions:
anionic and amphoteric surfactants

About the Webinar

Cosmetic formulations are more than just the sum of the properties of the raw materials mixed into them. There are many interactions between and among the ingredients than allow for the performance. The most important interaction is ionic. Complexes form between opposite charges and they either improve the formulation (ingredient synergy) or make the formulation worse (ingredient nysergy).

In a previous presentation Tony discussed anionic/ cationic interactions. By popular demand, Tony will now present on amphoteric / anionic interactions.
